Mr Mark Bigger
The North Hykeham Tae Kwon Do Club is run by Mr Mark Bigger 4th Dan Black Belt and International Referee.
He started training in 2001, and in January 2011 he set up NHTKD, training the team to successfully compete at many regional and international competitions over the years.
Mark is also a club first aid person.
Jack Taylor (21)
Jack was recently promoted (November 2019) to the clubs second instructor, after having completed his final instructors course at the Bristol Academy.
He brings lots of knowledge and energy to Team NHTKD.
Jack is a 2nd Dan Taekwondo Black Belt, and has been training since 2009 and has competed in over 35 major competitions ranging from regional to international.
Currently Jack is the Men's 2nd Dan Black Belt European Patterns Champion!
Not only is he an international patterns champion, but he has numerous sparring (fighting) medals and trophies over the years to his name.
Jack brings many qualifications to the club including welfare & safeguarding officer, first aider, Umpire level 2, his instructor status, along with having completed a course on learning disabilities in sport.
Lisa is a 1st Dan Black Belt and is one of the club's welfare officers and in charge of safeguarding,
Lisa enjoys training along side her daughter at NHTKD.
Claire is currently a 1st Kup Black Stripe and is due to grade for her Black Belt in April next year.
Claire is the club secretary, marketing manager and also a club first aider.
Being a personal trainer, qualified in padwork and strength & conditioning, along with other training disciplines, she is also the clubs fitness instructor.
Claire enjoys training along side her sons and is looking to become a qualified Taekwondo Instructor herself in the future.
